Emma DeWitt is an actor, director and social media manager based out of Boston, MA.

Emma is a graduate of the Hartt School, where they received a BFA in Actor Training. Throughout their time at Hartt, they studied both stage and on-camera acting, voiceover, improv and directing. As part of their degree, they also attended an intensive program in London where they honed their skills in classical acting. They have acted professionally across film, television and both regional and NYC theatre (earning great critical reviews), having been nominated for Best Supporting Actress at both NYC and LA Webfest this past year. Emma excels with offbeat characters with deep emotional complexity, often having a sardonic edge, social awkwardness, and strong comic timing.

Over the past few years, they have directed and assistant directed several professional productions, including a sold-out world premiere production in Boston. Their work has been described as “brilliant”, “darkly hilarious” and “incredibly moving” by industry members.

Outside of performing, they work as a freelance social media strategist, as well as Marketing Director for a non-profit arts organization in the greater Boston area. Their responsibilities include managing digital media, content creation, talent communication, graphic design, co-producing their podcast, and much more! #Versatile
